He has a strong background in analysis and implementation projects, delivering I.S. projects across industries which include state & local government, finance, tertiary education, real estate, logistics, enterprise e-commerce, and learning & development.

Gido’s engagements and experience include:

  • A Data Strategy for a financial institution. The engagement provided the organisation with tailored and practical initiatives to increase its overall data maturity and enable it to use data as an asset.
  • Business model development for a regional association to facilitate long-term, sustainable tourism growth. This engagement provided the client with a self-sustaining business model leveraging the use of mobile technology and strategic technical infrastructure.
  • The implementation, support and management of a Project Management Office for an Australian university. The objective was to review its current framework, design and implement shared solutions and procedures to: 1) enable the technology department to manage increased load with fewer resources; 2) improve overall stakeholder and end-user engagement.
  • Leading the technical development of a public register for State Government. It transformed and combined data from various sources, in multiple formats, to enable improved access to information for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • System integration analysis of solutions developed by separate State Government departments. Through process, legislative and business requirement comparative analysis we provided government with sustainable integration options to support improved efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Business Case development and Data Warehouse design for an ASX 200 listed organisation to verify the ROI for data warehouse changes to support reporting requirements. This required close collaboration with both senior executives and technical staff to understand strategic business drivers alongside capabilities and technical constraints.

Gido’s commitment to client success is supported by a Masters degree in Business Administration, a diploma in Information Technology (Application Development) and certification in Project Management.
